We want everyone to be able to understand, navigate and use SNNET DC's public digital services. Accessibility is part of our commitment to reliable technology and respectful communication. This statement explains our design objectives, how barriers can be reported, and the limits of our current assessment.
1. Our Commitment
SNNET DC seeks to design and maintain public website experiences that are perceivable, operable, understandable and robust. We recognise that people engage with technology through different devices, inputs, senses and assistive technologies. We aim to remove avoidable barriers and respond constructively where accessibility needs are not met.
2. Standards and Current Status
Our design target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. This is a development objective, not a declaration that the entire website has been independently audited or certified as conformant. Because conformance requires assessment of actual functionality and content, we do not presently make an unconditional site-wide WCAG compliance claim. Any statutory requirements applying to particular products or services are assessed separately.
3. Keyboard and Navigation
We aim to provide logical heading structures, meaningful link text, visible keyboard focus, a skip-to-content mechanism and keyboard access to essential navigation and forms. If you encounter an element that cannot be reached or operated without a mouse, please tell us which page and control are affected.
4. Reading, Language and Screen Readers
We seek readable typography, identifiable form labels, useful alternative text for informative imagery and semantic page structures. The website supports seven language routes, including right-to-left presentation for Arabic and Hebrew. The completeness and quality of translated specialist content, including legal material, require continuing review.
5. Visual Presentation and Responsiveness
We aim for readable content at common zoom levels, responsive layouts, distinguishable controls and sufficient contrast. User-controlled browser text scaling, high-contrast settings and assistive display options should remain usable where technically feasible. Visual design choices will be reassessed where they obstruct essential tasks.
6. Motion, Animation and Media
We aim to respect reduced-motion preferences and to avoid requiring animation to understand essential information. Where dynamic illustrations are decorative, we seek to keep them from interfering with assistive technology and provide understandable text alternatives for relevant information. Media captions, transcripts and other alternatives are assessed when that content is published.
7. Forms, Verification and Feedback
Contact, project, appointment and career forms should make required information, errors and submission outcomes understandable. Anti-abuse tools may introduce barriers for some users. If a verification challenge or attachment control prevents you from contacting us, email infodc@snnetconsulting.com to request an alternative means of communicating.
8. Third-Party Tools and Known Limitations
Some embedded, linked or provider-operated tools may behave differently across assistive technologies. Complex visualisations, verification widgets, uploaded documents or newly introduced features may also require further assessment and correction. The absence of a listed limitation does not mean that an element has been fully audited. We welcome specific reports so they can be investigated.
9. Testing and Improvement
Accessibility is considered during implementation and review, and we intend to combine automated checks with manual keyboard and assistive-technology testing where resources permit. A complete independent evaluation has not been documented for this statement. We will update the statement as meaningful evidence of accessibility status becomes available.
10. Reporting a Barrier or Requesting an Alternative
Please email infodc@snnetconsulting.com with the page address, the issue encountered, your device or assistive technology if you wish to share it, and the outcome you were trying to achieve. You need not disclose a medical condition. We will review the report and respond as reasonably practicable; we cannot guarantee a particular resolution time in every case.
11. Applicable Rights and Statement Updates
Accessibility obligations depend on the nature of the product or service and the applicable legislation, including the German Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG) where relevant. This voluntary statement does not limit rights or remedies available under mandatory law. We may revise it to reflect improvements, identified limitations, formal assessments or changes to the digital services offered.
